Edit-a-thon!

The ACWP+film Wikipedia Edit–a-thon, now in its 3rd edition, is an annual campaign mobilizing African film industry stakeholders and fans to enhance African film and television content and visibility on Wikipedia. The campaign is powered by The Africa Narrative in partnership with the Wikimedia Foundation.
African film is the initial creative sector focus of AfroCreatives WikiProject (ACWP)—a movement that brings together African cultural and creative industry stakeholders and cultural enthusiasts from across Africa and the diaspora. ACWP mobilizes these communities to contribute to and enrich Wikipedia’s coverage of Africa’s creative economy and cultural achievements. ACWP is a program of The Africa Narrative, a non-profit dedicated to championing African creatives and amplifying the global visibility of African cultural soft power.
