Welcome! You’re just a step away from joining a vibrant community dedicated to elevating and spotlighting African film and television on Wikipedia.

In signing up for the 2025 AfroCreatives WikiProject+film  Edit-a-thon, you’ll:​

• Secure your spot in our online and in-person workshops, designed to equip you with practical skills for editing African  Film and TV content on Wikipedia — whether you’re new to Wikipedia or an experienced editor. *

• Connect with fellow participants from across Africa, and the diaspora.

• Gain a chance to win local and international prizes ​

* it is not mandatory to sign up for a workshop to participate in the campaign, though strongly encouraged.

 

Multiple options to attend a workshop are offered both online and in-person:

Online Wikipedia Workshop​

Using the below registration form, there  are three opportunities to attend our online English Wikipedia workshop, Mastering the Essentials of Contributing Film & Television Content to Wikipedia:

• Single-Day Workshop (agenda)

  • Choose either August 2 or August 9

• Two-Day Workshop (agenda)

  • Attend on both August 12 and August 13

  • The same content, split in shorter sessions over two days.

 

Note: The agenda and total duration are identical for both formats—pick the dates that best fit your schedule.​​
